Let's Bake! Blueberry and Lemon Scones
If you haven't made scones, they are way easier than you think! With a few hot tips, like using a cheese grater to add my butter, I've learned how to make the best scones that put any other bakery to shame!

Dry Ingredients:
2 3/4 C Flour
1/2 tsp Salt
2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/3 C Sugar
2 Tb Lemon Zest

Wet Ingredients:
1 egg
1/2 C Milk or milk substitute
2 Tb Melted Butter
.
Then Add:
1 Stick of Butter
1 1/2 C Blueberries
.
Optional:
1/4 C Belgian Pearl Sugar
.
Lemon Icing:
1 C Powder Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
2 Tb Fresh Lemon Juice
.
Bake 18 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit
